A knit pullover featuring a factory graphic expressed with intarsia knitting. For the smoke, fluffy, untwisted wool yarn is used, and three colors of kasuri-dyed yarn are hand-attached one by one, creating a three-dimensional representation of smoke rising from the chimney and swaying in the wind. This garment brings together rigid architecture and soft smoke.

Smoke is the visualization of air currents. Air, which should be invisible, asserts its presence the moment it is given form. What appears heavy can be light to the touch. Within this fluctuation, we knit together the ambiguity and reality of air.
