"OVO" T-SHIRT

This T-shirt is made from "ovoveil," a jersey knit fabric woven from recycled eggshell membranes. A special process is used to partially melt the fabric, creating a realistic cracked pattern. The front features a print of a gal reminiscent of those magazine covers from the Heisei era. It has a fitted silhouette.

What remains after a life has been taken. Quiet respect is born for the will and technology that seeks to give new life to these "leftovers" instead of discarding them. This T-shirt, too, may be one way to confront the lives we have taken.
